Day Trip to Bainbridge Island

Most all Washington natives know about Bainbridge Island and the uniqueness of it. Recently, my husband, sister and brother-in-law took an afternoon trip. This was my first time visiting this charming little area just west of Seattle. We drove over and our first stop was coffee at Pegasus Coffee. This charming coffee shop is a must see and do! After ordering our coffee, we walked along the pier taking a look at all of the sail boats. It was a perfectly sunny afternoon, so we were throughly enjoying ourselves. After our walk we had a picnic lunch near the water and then made our way up to some shops. We went on a Sunday, so the shops did start to close around 5:00 pm.

We ended our trip with some ice cream and headed toward the car to head home. We decided to take the ferry back to Seattle and take in the beautiful sunset and skyline of Seattle. This was such a fun summer activity!
